In grad school, a couple days after the start of the semester, she walked into class wearing cute jeans and smile. As she made her way to her seat, he leaned over to his friend sitting next to him and whispered, “that’s the girl I am going to marry!” And years later, so it is. Sarah and Scott will marry in June at the Popponesset Inn.
We met at the Popponesset Marketplace on a chilly spring day a couple weeks ago. Although the sun was shining, the wind was fierce. We tried hiding behind the buildings best we could to stay warm.
Here is one of my first shots of the soon-to-be-married couple. I’ve been playing around with some different processing styles – on the left, my signature style and the right, a more muted and soft effect. What do you think?
Gorgeous, Sarah!I love how Sarah looks at him in this one. That’s love. And how he looks at her in return.Love the one on the left! This could be one of my favorite shots from our session.Or this one. I love the detail of Sarah’s ring and the pop of color of her dress.Love this too.And I am sucker for reflection shots!
After these last shots, the two changed their clothes and we headed to South Cape Beach. It was so windy I thought I’d be blown away and the second I got out of the car a huge gust blew sand into my eyes! It’s rare I cancel a session, but THAT was ridiculous. And COLD! So, the South Cape Beach part of our session has been postponed while we await warmer weather. I look forward to photographing these two again and getting more of the candid shots I love!
